Hosting and CDN (Cloudflare)

Connections to this website are routed through the Cloudflare content delivery network. Cloudflare processes the requesting IP address and technical request metadata in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare acts as a processor; the transfer to the United States is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The website itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking services.

Server logs

For technical operation, connection data (IP address, time, requested page) may be logged for a limited period in order to detect faults and attacks. It is not shared with third parties.

Legal basis

Where personal data is processed at all, this happens on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of this website.

Visitor counter

The live statistics on this site are based on an anonymous, in-memory counter: connections are counted and grouped by country, and visitors are deduplicated using a daily-changing salted hash of the IP address. The hash cannot be reversed, is never written to disk, and disappears on restart or at the daily reset. No cookies are used.

No accounts, no analysis

There is no registration, no comment function that stores data, no newsletter and no audience measurement. The website itself does not store personal data.
